Justin McDowell
Coach McDowell enters his sixth season at the helm of the Titans' baseball program, boasting an impressive 95-37 record at Triway. Before joining the Titans, he served as the head coach at Waynedale High School, where he compiled a 101-44 career record. Over five seasons there, his teams secured three WCAL championships, three district titles, one regional title, one regional runner-up finish, and a Division III state runner-up finish in 2016. Under his leadership, 13 players have continued their baseball careers at the collegiate level.

As a player, McDowell competed collegiately at the College of Wooster, where he played a key role in the Scots' 2009 College World Series run, finishing as national runner-up. A three-time First Team All-NCAC selection, he earned All-Region honors twice and was named an All-American in 2009 after leading the NCAA in wins (13). During his four-year tenure, Wooster amassed a remarkable 140-38 record.

Following his playing career, McDowell spent two seasons coaching pitchers at the College of Wooster and also served as an assistant coach for the Wayne County Legion team. In 2012, he transitioned into education, teaching freshman history at Waynedale, and now serves as the Athletic Director at Triway.

Off the field, McDowell is married to Annie, Triway's elementary STEAM teacher. They have two sons—Holden (7) and Madden (4). A native of Willard, Ohio, he graduated from Willard High School in 2007.
